Ryan Christian Bruner, loving son of Linda Newton Bryant and John Bruner, born on May 6, 1977 joined our Lord in heaven the morning of Tuesday Oct. 16, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Erin McEvoy, his son Aaron Christian Bruner, his brothers Casey Bruner, Bart Bruner, his sister Shohn Calvin, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He is also survived by his grandmother Reba Bruner and predeceased by his grandparents, Jack Bruner, Mary Newton and Carl Newton.
Ryan worked as a case worker with Tahoe Turning Point, Inc. in South Lake Tahoe, CA. He is a loving husband, brother, father, and son. He will be remembered as an adventurous, outgoing, and friendly man who loved not only to notice and appreciate nature, but taught all of us how to experience God's beautiful world. "I'll learn you," is a frequent comment heard by all those he loved and taught. His short time on earth was spent in many beautiful locations including, Boone, N.C., Aspen, CO, Breckenridge, CO, Jackson Hole, WY, and Charleston, SC. He was a professionally certified, trained, and talented chef whose creations were enjoyed by all.
"There are things that we don't want to happen but have to accept, things we don't want to know but have to learn, and people we can't live without but have to let go."
A memorial service for Ryan will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20th at 11:00 A.M. at the Lord and Stephens Funeral Home located on Jimmy Daniels Road in Bogart, GA.
En lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a trust fund at First American Bank, c/o Erin McEvoy and Ryan C. Bruner Trust Account.
