Crawford - Ruth Gholston Hansford Wall, 94, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passed away April 11, 2008.
A native and lifelong resident of Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late Richard Bradley and Bonie Gholston Bullock Hansford, and widow of William A. Wall Sr. She was a member of Crawford Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, William A. Wall Jr. (Carrie) of Athens, David A. Wall Sr. (Brenda) of Stephens and Mable Wall West of Arnoldsville; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and special nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were Monday at 11 a.m. at Crawford Cemetery. Rev. Tom Epps will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Quiet Oaks Nursing Home or Crawford Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
Lord and Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
