Ruth (Busbin) Martin

Mattie Ruth Busbin Martin, 85, of Danielsville, died Wednesday, October 18, 2017.
Born on September 25, 1932 in Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Harvey S. Busbin and Annie Sue Haggard Busbin. Mrs. Martin owned and operated Ruth's Florist in Commerce until her retirement and she was a member of Providence Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Doyle Martin, her daughter, Deborah Jones, and her brother, Sanford Busbin.
Survivors include her son, Ronnie Martin of Danielsville; son-in-law, Sammy Jones of Danielsville; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, Danielsville with Rev. Jeff Wells and Rev. Justin Baskins officiating. Interment will follow in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Junior Shields, Tim Shields, Clayton Bryant, Billy Singleton, Billy Culbertson and Johnny Adams.
