Ruth Sisk Leadley, 68, Lexington GA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on January 17, 2018. Ruth was the loving wife of Mike Leadley (Frank Paul) for the last 33 years. She was proceeded in death by her parents Tom Watson and Coequilla Clark Sisk and siblings Pete Sisk, Gene Sisk, and Sybil McCannon.
Ruth is survived by her husband Mike Leadley, daughter Regina (Richard) Serna of Crawford, daughter Judie (Geff) McAllister of Smithonia, daughter Diane (Ed) McNeil of Orlando, daughter Susan Smith of Myrtle Beach and daughter Janice Smith of Elberton.
She was the loving grandmother to Ashley Elyse Martinez, Dereck McClain, Michael McAllister, Gabriel Serna, Tony Burke, Emma and Joseph McNeil, Daniel, Robert, Christa, and Madison. Also, she had an extra special place in her heart for her great-granddaughters Aly, Lilli, and was anticipating the arrival of Everly Ruth.
Ruth was a member of Stevens Grove Baptist Church. She was employed with BIG Services when she became unable to work. Her other employers over the years were Georgia Sportswear and Golden Pantry. She always talked about loving working with her daddy at the courthouse when he was Clerk of Court.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday January 20, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Stevens Grove Baptist Church in Lexington GA. After the service, the family welcomes hugs and prayers as we will have dinner and remembrance at the fellowship hall. Lord and Stephens East is providing cremation services.
Although Ruth loved her flowers and would enjoy all that are sent, the family would like to ask that donations be made to The Georgia Transplant Foundation as they assisted Ruth numerous times throughout her struggle.
