Maysville, GA - Ruth Ann Cheely, age 77, died Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at her residence.
Born in Walton County, she was the daughter of the late W. Hoyt Dodd and Eunice Francis Terry Dodd. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Henry Virgil Cheely. She retired from Discount Children's Wear as the strore manager after 34 years. She was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Kathy Cheely Jarrett, Barry Virgil Cheely and Vicky Cheely Elder; brothers: Donald Dodd and Doyle Dodd and two grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Attn: Rhita Pfleger, 1925 Century Blvd. NE Suit 10, Atlanta, GA 30345.
