Lexington - Rusty Jones, 42, died Friday, March 6, 2009 at his residence.
Born in Athens, GA, he was the son of Betty Jones Martin and the late Carroll Blaine Jones; grand son of the late Hoke Henry and Annie Elizabeth Jones and Curtis Eugene and Edna Truelove. Rusty lived most of his life in Barrow and Jackson County, only recently moving to Lexington, GA. He was a mechanic with M & M Transmission and loved camping and fishing.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Tiffany McDonald Jones of Lexington; children: Trevor McDonald Jones, Trenton McDonald Jones, Ryan Jones, Lindsey Jones; niece: Brittany Hayes; siblings: Lonnie Jones, Brenda Harper, Janie Wood, Eric Jones, Elaine Hayes and one grand son.
A memorial service will be held Monday, March 9, 2009 at 7PM at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Rev. Brian Armour officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 5 until 7.
Lord & Stephens, EAST is in charge of arrangements.
