Born in Madison County, he was the son of the late Fred and Floretta Evans Goss. Floyd had attended Colbert Baptist Church.
Survivors include his children: Scott Goss of Danielsville, Randall Goss of Danielsville, Shane Goss of Nicholson, Brandon Goss of Athens, Jonathan Goss of Atlanta, Robin Goss of Danielsville; brothers: Leon Allen Goss of Colbert, Bill Howard Goss of Danielsville; grandchildren: Mathew Wooten, Justin Goss, Christin Goss, Jennifer Goss, Christopher Goss and Jessica Goss.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 8, 2007 at Lord & Stephens West Chapel with Rev. Ray Jenkins officiating. Burial will be held at Danielsville Memory Gardens.
