Rudell "Rudy" Jackson Burroughs, III

Rudell (Rudy) Jackson Burroughs III, 57, of Talking Rock, Georgia, formally from the Athens area passed away on December 3, 2024. Born on May 6, 1967, in Augusta, Georgia and raised in Colbert, Georgia. Rudy loved more than anything to spend time with his dog Daisy and he was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. He was always there for anyone in need, friends or strangers, he had a huge heart that will be missed. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Alice LaFaye and James White; wife Rhonda Burroughs; daughters Carley Fogliani (Jean Baptiste) of Chavagne, France, Hannah Karter Burroughs of Greensboro, NC, and Emily Grace Burroughs of Mount Pleasant, SC; and his beloved dog, Daisy. Memorial services will be held on December 20th at 11 AM at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East Chapel located at 4355 Lexington Rd, Athens, GA.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rudell Jackson Burroughs Jr.
