Ruby L. Tolbert-Gunn, 90, died August 30, 2006.
A native of Oglethorpe County, she lived in North Carolina for over twenty years before moving back to Winterville in 1962. She was a daughter of the late L. T. and Holly Fleeman Dover and was preceded in death by two husbands, Olin Howard Tolbert and Lonnie Gunn, as well as three brothers and one sister. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 1, 2006, at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will be in Athens Memory Gardens.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Bob Richards of Monroe; three sisters, Mae Sue Moore of Winterville, Ruth Wood of Maxeys and Doris Burt of Carlton; two grandchildren, Todd Richards of Loganville and Leisa Richards of Suwanee, GA; three great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
