Athens - Ruby Mae McNair Deen, 81, died August 4, 2007.
A native of Washington County, Ga., she was the widow of James Smith Deen. Mrs. Deen was a homemaker and a member of Temple Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 7, 2007, at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Rev. Joel Dover and Evangelist Frank Meadows, Jr., will officiate. Interment will be in Athens Memory Gardens.
Survivors include four children, Shirley Meadows of Athens, Billy Ray Peebles of Gainesville, Connie Murphy of Augusta, and Jimmy Deen of Blairsville; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
