Ruby P. Carver, 90, died November 15, 2015.
A native of Ocklawaha, FL, she was a daughter of the late John Frank and Dora Belle Morgan Hornbeak. She lived in this area since 1977 and was a Charter member of Cleveland Road Baptist Church. She was a Red Cross volunteer at St. Mary's Hospital and Athens Regional for over twenty-five years.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 10 AM at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include two children, Cathy Humphrey and husband, Lloyd of Flowery Branch, GA and Keith M. Carver of Bogart. Ruby was the youngest of eleven children and has one sister, Ruth Johnson in Keystone Heights, FL. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Amanda Melissa Humphrey of Duluth, GA and Baker Humphrey and his wife, Christinna of Flowery Branch, GA; many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
