Lexington - Roy Milton Robertson Jr., 72, passed away Friday, April 4, 2008.
He was born February 9, 1936, in Elk Point, South Dakota to the late Roy M. Sr. and Lora Saville Robertson. Retired from Cumberland Farms Convenience Store, he was an active member of American Legion, Post 123 of Lexington, a United States Army Veteran and of the Methodist Faith.
Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Monday, April 7, 2008, at Lord & Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Buford Lockman officiating. Burial will be in Athens Memory Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Glanville Robertson; children and spouse, Phillip Robertson of Jefferson, Ginger and Brian Chalmers of Gilbert AZ, Nancy Winterbourne of Mt. Horeb WI, Kathy and Lloyd McCants of Tignall, Lori and Len Fleming of Lexington and Peggy Hager of Lexington; brother, Allan Robertson of Omaha NE; sister, Marie Schwartz of San Marcos, CA; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Lord & Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel, Crawford, is in charge of arrangements.
