Roy Reece, Jr., 63, died March 7, 2012.
A native of Barrow County, he was a son of the late Jessama Hayes and Roy Reece, Sr. and was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Jean Reece. Mr. Reece was owner and operator of R & R Auto Center and was a veteran of the United States Army.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 10, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST with Rev. Douglas Hammond officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife of forty three years, Alma Jean Tanksley Reece; son, Roy (Melissa) Reece, III; three sisters, Sue Garrett, Myrtle Dalton and Evelyn Hamrick; brother, Joe Reece; two grandchildren, Kelsie Palmer and Lauren Reece; a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
