Roy Herbert Nunnally

Bogart, GA - Roy Herbert Nunnally, age 85, formerly of Bogart, Georgia, died January 25, 2014 at New London Health Center. Roy was a beloved father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was well known by many in the Bogart/Athens area. He was the son of the late William Arthur and Martha Clyde Nunnally.
Survivors include a daughter Dixie Williams and spouse Richard and a son Roy H. Nunnally Jr. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Julie Ogles, Daniel Williams, Meredith Nunnally and Spencer Nunnally, and one great granddaughter, Rose Ogles. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews all of whom will miss him greatly. Roy was preceded in death by all of his brothers and sisters; W.A. "Boots" Nunnally, Lewis Granby Nunnally, Frances Patat, and Lois Gallagher.
The family would like to thank all of the wonderful people at New London Health Center for all the love and care they gave Roy during his stay. We want you to know you became part of our family as he became a part of yours.
Roy was in the veteran of WWII and attended the Nuremburg Trials. He always loved to laugh and joke. Roy was a member of Bogart Baptist Church.
The visitation will be at Bogart Baptist Church Monday, January 27, 2014 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM. The services and burial will follow at 3:00 PM.
Memorials may be made to Bogart Baptist Church or your favorite charity.
