Roy Edward Manoll, Jr.

Roy Edward Manoll, Jr., husband of 56 years to Martha Sadler Manoll, died Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Born in East Saint Louis, IL, he was the son of the late Roy Edward Manoll, Sr. and Lillian Brewer Manoll.  Roy retired from the City of Albany as the Water, Gas and Light Director.  He served in the US Airforce.  Survivors in addition to his wife include a son and daughter in law: Roy and Deborah Manoll, III of Athens; sister: Diane Gorsch of Ft. Mill, SC and two grandchildren: Roy “Bo” Manoll, IV and Lillian Claire “Lilly” Manoll.  Private services will be held.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Cancer Foundation of Northeast Georgia, P.O. Box 49309, Athens, Ga. 30604 or to CURE Childhood Cancer, 200 Ashford Center N Suite 250, Atlanta, GA 30338. Lord & Stephens West is in charge of arrangements.
