Roxanne Elaine Giddens

Roxanne Elaine Giddens, age 46, went to be with the Lord on January 9, 2014. Born in Athens, she was the daughter of Roger and Elaine Patrick. Roxanne was an avid gardener, loving mother and wife, and longtime pharmacist. She was an honor graduate and a member of Phi Beta Honor Society at Northwest High School in Clarkesville, TN, where she also received the Marine Corps Leadership Award in Band. Roxanne received a four year scholarship to Austin Peay State University. She was a member of the Masonic Rainbow Girls and Little Westfork Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to her parents include her husband of 19 years, Hewlett Chris Giddens; daughter, Emily Marie Giddens; sisters, Sonya Marie Patrick and Shanna Lynn Colvin; nieces, Amber Lynn Brudon and Elizabeth Danielle Dunaway.
Funeral services will be held at 5PM on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors with Rev. Patricia Mann officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8PM on Saturday, January 11.
