Comer - Rotay S. Jordan, 91, died Sunday, July 26, 2009, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at Sandy Cross Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Luster officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A longtime resident of Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late Steve and Minnie Ethel Martin Smith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Jordan. She was a homemaker and member of Sandy Cross Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Margie Ashworth of Comer; grandson Bill (Wanda) Ashworth; great-grandsons Jake (Tabatha) Ashworth, Josh (Amy) Ashworth; great-great-grandchildren Trent, Rusty, Haiden, Amanda and Kristin Ashworth.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2009, at Lord & Stephens OGLETHORPE chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sandy Cross Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
