Born in Scottsboro, AL, she was the daughter of the late Emmett and Kathleen Hasty Smart and was preceded in death by a grandson, Joshua Jones. Mrs. Jones was a member of Lexington Church of God.
Services will be Friday, February 17, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Lord and Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel. Revs. Frank Walker and George Ray Garner will officiate. Interment will be in Peachtree Memorial Park, Norcross.
Survivors include her husband, William T. Jones; sons, Jackie D. Jones (JoAnn) of Conyers and Randy Jones (Teri) of Sandy Cross; 4 sisters, Janie Williams, Joyce Tally, Katie Hollis and Faye Kitchens; 3 brothers, Clyde Smart, Bobby Smart and Jerry Smart; 5 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6:00 until 9:00 PM.
