Athens, GA - Rosemary Eells Desmet, 82, died in Athens, GA November 11, 2007.
A native of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Mrs. Desmet was a daughter of the late Don V. and Laverne Winget Eells, and the widow of the late James A. Desmet. She was an accomplished watercolorist and a member of the National League of American Pen Women.
Memorial services will be Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 3:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will be in Oconee Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter, Christy Desmet and son-in-law David Schiller of Athens, Georgia, and her son, Clark Desmet and daughter-in-law Lynn Wells of Riverhead, NY; and a sister, Helen Ainslie.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 until 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
