Athens - Roscoe Pearson, 90, died Wednesday, September 12, 2007.
A native of Madison County, he was a son of the late George D. and Roxie S. Pearson. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Beatrice Parham Pearson; brothers, Harvey Pearson, Ottis Pearson, Seaborn Pearson, Frank Pearson, Hubert Pearson, Elmer Pearson, twin brother Vascoe Pearson and sister, Bertie Mae Pearson Segars. He was a retired mechanic from Ivy-Coile Chrysler.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Ronnie Healan of Athens; grandchildren and spouses, Terry and Julie Healan of Painesville, Ohio, Jimmy and Teresa (Healan) Minish of Commerce, Ga.; and great-grandson, Joshua Healan of Painesville, Ohio.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 14, 2007, at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST, with Rev. Ronnie Healan officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
