Rev. Ronnie Howell Lewis was born in Fulton County, GA on July 29, 1954, to the late Erby Dee Lewis and the late Madie Evelyn McCarty.
Ronnie served as a Sunday school teacher, director of youth ministry, and then as an ordained lay minister in the Apostolic doctrine. Not only did he serve in the ministry, but he was the owner and operator of Ronnie Lewis Contracting until his retirement many years ago. He did general contracting for over 40 years. His love for others and the love of serving others was God’s way of transition on November 17, 2020, when he went from labor to reward. Ronnie then joined his parents, his best friend and bride of over 35 years, Audrey, and his brother Kenneth Crews, all of whom preceded him in death.
Left to cherish his memories and celebrate his legacy include his son, Rev. Rodney Brent Lewis; his beloved daughters Tiffani (Eric) Sisk and Chasiti (Lee) Fite; his youngest grandchildren “Bop’s Boys,” Jentzen Lewis and Cruse Fite; Bop’s Girl, Jaelyn Sisk; and Pappa’s oldest grandsons Justin Lewis and Cole Lewis; his brothers Jerry Lewis, Henry Crews, Wayne Lewis, and Joe Lewis; his sister Meri Lewis and a host of other relatives and church family.
