Ronald Andre Swann

Ronald Andre Swann, 70, of Watkinsville, died on March 10, 2023.

Born in Cartersville, GA to the late Robert Kenzel Swann and Johnette Gunnells Swann, Ronald had lived in Oconee County since 2018. He was an active member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church. Ronald enjoyed sports, especially baseball and hunting, which brought him together with his number one priority, his family. He was a true family man who especially cherished his grandchildren.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gail Duncan Swann; their children, Allison (Michael) Cass and Adam (Sara) Swann; two sisters, Shirlee (Bill) Reade and Rosalyn Rock; four grandchildren: Hannah Kate Cass, Brooks Cass, Rylie Swann, and Easton Swann; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 12 at Lord and Stephens, West Chapel at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the visitation. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Park.
