Ronald John Oliverio

Mr. Ronald John (Ron) Oliverio, 49, of Athens, died December 26, 2007 at St. Marys Hospital. Ron had suffered through extended illnesses of congestive heart failure and diabetes. He is survived by his wife, Linda, three sons, Christian, Thomas and Ronald and daughter, Beth and three grandchildren, Scott, Aden and Shia.
Born in Cleveland, OH, he later served in the US Navy and was retired due to disability. Ron lovingly served the Athens community through the Mercy Health Clinic and Healing Hands Ministry. Ron will be remembered for his big heart and special love for family and friends. His philosophy was, (whats mine is yours.) A memorial service is planned for Saturday December 29 at 11:00 AM at Winterville United Methodist Church with Rev. Tac Coley officiating.
