Ronald Carpenter, 70, of Athens, passed away on December 30, 2017. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clay and Elizabeth Morrison Carpenter, and his siblings: Helen Jaros, Betty King, and Clay Eugene Carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Swisher Carpenter; his sister, Judy (John) Roberts; and his three daughters: Becky Duclos, Vicki (Zachary) Millsap, and Tammy Harper; as well as several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, January 7 at Heritage Fellowship in Bogart.
