Roger Phillip Glass III

Roger Phillip Glass, III, 28, died December 28, 2013 from injuries sustained in a tragic pedestrian accident after being struck by a vehicle.
Phillip was born in Athens, GA on September 9, 1985 and was a 2004 graduate of Oconee County High School, where he played for and genuinely supported the football team. He was also an avid UGA football fan all of his life. Phillip will be remembered as a caring friend to all. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl J. and Virginia L. Lynch and Roger P. Glass, Sr.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST with Revs. Jeff Rogers and Leon Hoover officiating. Interment will follow at Oconee Memorial Park.
Survivors include his parents, Norma Glass of Statham and Roger Phillip (Michelle) Glass, Jr. of Madison, GA; brother, Eric (Lori) Dover of Bethlehem, GA; sisters, Abigail Glass, Ella Glass and Amelia Glass, all of Madison, GA; grandmother, Sandra C. Glass of Greensboro, GA; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from noon until service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a children's charity of your choice, your local humane society or the UMC Children's Home.
