Athens - Roger Dale Busbin, 51, died October 18, 2006.
A native of Clarke County, GA, he was a son of the late James Alton and Mildred Carter Busbin, and was preceded in death by a brother, James V. Busbin. Mr. Busbin was employed with Certainteed for over twenty years.
Funeral services will be Sunday, October 22, 2006, at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Revs. Joe Wood and Dennis Nix will officiate. Interment will be in Arnoldsville Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Lynn Busbin; son, Josh Dale Busbin of Winterville; daughter, Casey Geiman of Hull; brothers, David T. Busbin of Winterville, Larry Busbin of Winterville, Ricky A. Busbin of Hull; sisters, Doris Ann Gabriel of Winterville, Sandra B. Arnold of Winterville, Beverly B. Gabriel of Colbert, Susan B. Mauldin of Watkinsville, Helen B. Vidic of Kankakee, IL, Frieda B. Rice of Winterville; two grandchildren, Seth Geiman and Serena Busbin; a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home and may be reached at the home of David Busbin, 336 Meyer Farm Road, Winterville, GA 30683.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge arrangements.
