Mrs. Robyn Clendenin of Athens, formerly of Woodstock, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013.
She is survived by her daughter Amanda Smallwood of Atlanta, son Tanner Smallwood of Woodstock; parents John and Ann Clendenin of Athens, sister Ginger Fender (Greg) of Watkinsville, and brother Andrew Clendenin (Shirley) of Monroe; nephew Braddock Smith (Anna) of Griffin, and nieces Cassidy Dampier of Milledgeville, Kelli and Canna Clendenin of Monroe.
Ms. Clendenin graduated from Cedar Shoals High School and the University of Georgia School of Journalism. She received graduate national certification in Project Management and Human Resource Management from Kennesaw State University.
She was employed by IBM Corp. for 24 years as a Project Manager. She then designed a line of jewelry that she made and sold at the Atlanta Apparel Mart. Her hobbies included tennis, skiing, cooking, and traveling.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 from 6 until 9 PM. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 3 PM with the Rev. Ray Wuerzer officiating. Interment will follow in Oconee Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial donations be made to the charity of ones choice.
