Annie Roberta Sorrow, 90, of Colbert, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016.
Born in Winterville, she was the daughter of the late Howard Bullock and Eva Halbert Bullock. Mrs. Sorrow wrote poetry for Colbert's Fourth of July Celebration for over 44 years. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Most importantly, she was a wonderful mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Clifford Sorrow; one daughter, Sherry Williams and one sister, Sue Meyer.
Survivors include her granddaughter, Pamela Hamby and her husband, Ricky; two great grandchildren, Jessica and Tyler Hamby; one great-great granddaughter, Emma and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11:00 am at Northside Baptist Church with Pastor Freddie Coile officiating. Interment will follow in the Colbert Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home, and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Pallbearers will be Josiah Coile, Caleb King, Chris Fair, Robbie Logan, Don Hamby and Tim King. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Fair and Ricky Hamby.
