Colbert, GA - Roberta Morris, 88, of Colbert, died Friday, October 5, 2007 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Houston County on February 18, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Burruss and Anna Holcomb. Mrs. Morris was retired from Southern Bell Telephone Company and was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America and Colbert Baptist Church.
Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Morris, brother, James Holcomb and sister, Pauline Parham.
She is survived by her daughter, Jeannie Epps; sister, Minnie Lee Tiller; grandchildren, Dennis (Tina) Epps, Donna (Gary) Ayers, Gary (Belinda) Epps and Brenda (Tobi) Stroupe; great grandchildren, Nicki, Keri, Hayley and Kaci Epps and step great grandchildren, Lacey and Brandi.
Services will be Monday, October 8, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the graveside at Colbert Cemetery. Revs. Brad Wilson and Robert Passmore will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday at Lord and Stephens, EAST.
