Roberta Dawson Dellinger, 90, wife of the late Carles Dellinger, died on Oct. 18, 2013.
Born in Watkinsville, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Hassie Dawson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers: Roy, Raymond, Ralph and Rayford Dawson; and two sisters: Sara Sue Norris and Selena Kate Dickens.
Roberta retired from Macy's and was a former member of Union Christain Church.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Colette and Charles Lane; one brother: Ruhl Dawson; two sisters: Becky Barnette and Sunie Nell Stewart; three grandchildren: Amie (Chris) Johns, Leslie Lane, and Mollye (Clint) Raney; six great-grandchildren: Zach, Caleb, Ellie, Mackenzie, Anna, and Camden; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 11 AM at Union Christian Church with burial following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Union Christian Church Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund, 1100 Union Church Road, Watkinsville, GA 30677.
