Robert Stempson

Robert Douglas Stempson, 80, died March 31, 2018.
A native of Asheville, NC, he was a son of the late Irvin C. and Juanita Corn Stempson. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Gilman Paper Company. Mr. Stempson loved his family, fishing and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Private services will be held.
Survivors include two children, Wendy (Scott) Dye and Michael Stempson Love; sister, Susan Stempson (Steve) Cox; grandchildren, Justin Dye, Amelia Dye; nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
