Winterville - Robert Lindsey McFalls, Sr., died February 4, 2011 at the VA Hospital, Augusta.
Born in Chester, S.C., he was the son of Thelma Turner McFalls of Crawford, and the late J. D. McFalls. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by three siblings: Richard Daniel McFalls, Betty Beck, and Lanny McFalls. Robert was a member of Living Waters Baptist Church and was the owner and operator of M & W Millwrights. He served his country in the U.S. Marines.
Survivors include his three children: Robert Lindsey McFalls Jr., Melissa (Pete) Johnson, and Daniel (Nichole) McFalls; grandchildren, Haley McFalls, Clayton Johnson, and Kimberley Johnson; brother, Larry (Sheila) McFalls; and sister, Dorothy Bruster.
Funeral services will be held Monday, February 7, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Rev. Lee Hunter officiating. Burial will follow at Arnoldsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Sunday, February 6, 2011 at the funeral home.
Lord & Stephens East is in charge of arrangements.
