Robert Hugh Maxey, 65, died April 27, 2011.
A native of Pittsburgh, California, he was a son of the late Hugh and Georgia Lewis Maxey. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Vietnam. He was employed for over twenty years with Dekalb County as a city planner and was a member of Northeast Georgia Area for Planning and Development Commission for many years.
Graveside services will be Friday, April 29, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Union Christian Church Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Maxey of Atlanta.
A reception will be held at the residence of Ben and Martha Lord following the service.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
