Athens - Robert Ward Bob Haynes, 56, died Sunday, August 5, 2007.
Born in New Brunswick, NJ, he was the son of the late Benjamin Carlisle Haynes, Jr. and Martha Brooks Haynes. He was a longtime friend of Bill W.
Survivors include his daughters, Kelly Michelle Johnson of Mineral Bluff, Ga., and Mary Melanie Malnati of Smyrna, Ga.; brothers, Benjamin Carlisle Haynes, III and Thomas Gregory Haynes; sister, Mary Haynes Piazza; three nieces; one nephew; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 11, 2007 at Peeples Funeral Home, 208 South 3rd Avenue, Chatsworth, GA, (706) 695-4634, with Steve Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Chatsworth Heights Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association,1 Corporate Blvd., Atlanta, GA 30329 or www.diabetes.org.
