Robert Evans Jr

Robert Hughes Evans, Jr., 78, died Saturday, April 1, 2017. A resident of Monroe, GA, he was the son of the late Robert Hughes Evans, Sr. and Beulah L. Evans. He was a graduate of Winterville High School, class of 1956. He is survived by his wife, Polly Hamilton Evans; his son Chip Evans (Paula) of Louisville, KY; his siblings, Elizabeth Edwards of Canton and Becky Stone of Blairsville, and his grandchildren, Mallory Evans, Grace Evans, and Avery Evans. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. at Tuckston UMC 4175 Lexington Rd. Athens GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the church.
