Robert E. Burge Sr

Maxeys - Robert E. Burge, Sr., 66, died Saturday, December 10, 2011. Born in Atlanta, he was the son of the late Leonard and Lola Allan Burge. He was a self-employed Plumber. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Frances Frizzi Burge; children, Robert Burge, Jr., Tammy Adams, Tracey Pollack, Michael Whitfield, Toni Evans; three sisters, two brothers, 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Lord & Stephens East Chapel with Rev. Tommy Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 until 2 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice House, Athens. Lord & Stephens East is in charge of arrangements.
