Athens - Robert Thomas Burgdoff, 16, died Saturday, March 7, 2009.
Born in Anderson, S.C., he was the son of Shree Thomas Burgdoff, Jason Kirkpatrick and William Allen Burgdoff. He was a sophomore at Cedar Shoals High School, where he was a member of the wrestling team and golf team. He was a member of Tuckston United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Brooklynn Nichole Burgdoff, as well as seven aunts and uncles and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 12, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Tuckston United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the funeral home, Wednesday, March 11, 2009.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tuckston United Methodist Church Youth Department.
