Robert Larry Bostick

Robert Larry Bostick, 81, husband of Margaret Faye Bostick, died Friday, October 29, 2021.

Born in Ellerbe, NC, he was the son of the late Chester Steadman Bostick and Martha Elsie Jones Bostick and was also preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.  Mr. Bostick retired from Yellow Freight after 38 years.

Survivors in addition to his wife include four children: Martha (Victor) Gillen, Bill (Chely) Gillen, Sheila (Billy) Garrett and LeaAnn Rea; brother: George Bostick; sister: Martha Howell; grandchildren: Matthew Cochran, Magan Cochran, Matt Gillen, Jamie Allgood, Shyanne Allgood and Wesley Garrett and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 3PM at Lord and Stephen East Chapel with Rev. Billy Daws officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, November 1, 2021 from 6 until 8 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jamie Allgood, Ron Wilson, Wesley Garrett, Shyanne Allgood, Matt DiPalma and Raul Rodriguez, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Jones, Buddy Register, Jeff Carter and Don Thompson. Interment will follow the service at Athens Memory Gardens.
