Colbert - Rita Magnus Davidson, 59, died July 7, 2007.
A native of Clarke County, GA, she was a daughter of Trilla Mae Magnus of Winterville and the late Andrew Jackson Magnus, and was the widow of James Terry Davidson. She was also preceded in death by her grandson Geoffrey Ryan Broome Davidson. She was retired from St. Mary's Hospital, where she was a nurse for 37 years.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors in addition to her mother include her son, Geoffrey Ryan Davidson of Hull; granddaughter, Krysta Noel Marie Davidson; sister Sheila Harlow of Snellville; brothers Mark Magnus of Winterville, Kenneth Magnus of Maxeys; best friend Lynn Mundy of Colbert; a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., FL. 17, Chicago IL 60601-7633.
