Ricky Paige Sweat

Ricky Paige Sweat, born in Alma, Georgia, died November 14, 2016 at the age of 60. He was preceded in death by his parents Lomis Paige and Annette McLean Sweat, and his sister Ann Sweat Sutter. He is survived by his wife Martha, sons Daniel (Meg) Sweat and Matthew (Sarah) Sweat, daughter Mallory Sweat, sister Susan (Tom) Sweat Gunby, grandchildren Landon Paige Sweat and Logan Rose Sweat, nephew Joshua T. Sutter, cousin and best friend Daniel (Angie) McLean, brothers-in-law Ned (Linda) Hutchinson, Hal (Jane) Hutchinson, and several cousins and step nieces and nephews.
Mr. Sweat was employed with Farmers Home Administration and Rural Development/USDA for the past 37 years and previously served with the Agency as Area Director in Tifton and Baxley, GA. He was currently employed with the Agency in Athens, GA.
A celebration of Ricky's life will be held at The Blueberry Plantation Inn, Alma, GA, Thursday, November 17th at 11:30 am with a fellowship of family and friends immediately following the service.
