Ricky H. Knight

Richard “Ricky” H. Knight, 54, died August 23, 2021.

A native of Baxley, GA, Ricky was a son of Annette Watson Knight of Eatonton and the late Henry Dewey Knight, Jr. He lived most of his life in Greensboro before moving to Athens. He was a kind and generous man with a genuine love for his family. Ricky was a Winterville Volunteer Fire Fighter for many years and a member of Winterville United Methodist Church.

Memorial services will be Friday, August 27, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, EAST. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife of thirty-four years, Lisa Griffin Knight; two children, Joshua Henry (Beth) Knight of Union Point and Austin David Knight of Eatonton; one brother, Raymond Knight; three sisters, Sherrie Hubbard, Rhonda Herrington and April Holt; four grandchildren, Emma Bailey Knight, Aiden Henry Knight, Raylan Grace Knight and River Hayes Knight; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Winterville Volunteer Fire Department.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Winterville Volunteer Fire Department.
