Hull - Rev. Robert Passmore Jr. passed away April 10, 2008.
Robert was born in Lumpkin County on September 5, 1944 to Florence Madeline Garrett and Robert Passmore Sr. He served churches in Blairsville, GA for ten years, then Oakwood, GA for six years. For the next five years he served McKees Chapel followed by ten years of service to Gordons Chapel until his retirement in June 2007. Later he served Antioch Methodist Church as part-time pastor.
Funeral services were Monday, April 14, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Gordons Chapel United Methodist Church. Interment was in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 44 wonderful years of marriage, Ruth; son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Jill Passmore of Blairsville, GA; son, Dale Passmore of Hull, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Hanei Gomaei of Hull, GA; grandchildren, Brannon Passmore, Nikki Passmore, Josh Passmore, T.J. Transue, Madison Transue; one great-granddaughter, Jade Passmore; sisters, Pauline Gilland, Bonnie Passmore, Myrtle Gibson; brother, Tim Passmore.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
