She was born in Jackson County, the daughter of the late Harvey and Jettie Mae Whitehead Chatham. She was a seamstress and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her uncle, Leon Whitehead; nephews, Eugene and Ronald Whitehead and other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 5, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, Danielsville with Rev. Buford Lockman officiating. Interment will be in Hull Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be James Whitehead, Richard Whitehead, Eugene Whitehead, Ronald Whitehead, Scott Whitehead and Andrew Whitehead.
