Rebie (Morris) Williams

July 29, 1920 — October 14, 2014

Rebie Morris Williams, 94, died October 14, 2014.
A native of Warrenton, GA, she was a daughter of the late Annie Andrews and Willie Baker Morris and the widow of Harold E. "Rass" Williams, Sr. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Williams was owner and operator of Williams Grocery for many years and was a longtime member of Green Acres Baptist Church. She was a loving caregiver to many family and church members, especially to her four sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST with Rev. Fred Rowell and Mr. Ed Saye officiating. Interment will follow at Williams Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:30 until service time.
Survivors include two children, Smokey (Bill) Evans and Harold (Paula) Williams, all of Athens; six grandchildren, Lori (Ken) Crowe, Ben Williams, Molly Williams, Brad (Bridgette) Evans, Alan (April) Evans and Katherine (Pat) Evans; five great grandchildren, Mary Beth Crowe, Kimberly Crowe, Morgan Evans, Grant Evans and Ryley Evans; many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Parks Towns, Parks Williams, Paul Williams, Ben Williams, Ken Crowe and Donnie Whitehead.
Honorary pallbearers will be staff members of Williams & Guined PC CPA'S.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
