Rebecca Leigh Yager

Rebecca Leigh Yager, 47, of Lexington, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 20, 2023.

Born in Cartersville, she was the daughter of Peggy Yvonne Bellar and the late Harold Leonard Premo. Rebecca was a Paraprofessional at Comer Elementary and previously worked with the Oglethorpe County School System.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving husband, Norman Scott Yager; two sons, James Mitchell Premo and Jameson Marshall Premo; stepchildren, Brittany Marie Blumenshine, Dylan Scott Yager and Olivia Joy Yager and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 30, 2023 at 4:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, East. Interment will follow at Athens Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00 until 4:00 pm at the funeral home.
