Rebecca Dickens (Gilchrist) Morris

Rebecca G. Morris age 84 died Monday, February 6, 2012.
A native of Alabama, Mrs. Morris was the daughter of the late Jesse and Kathleen Dickens Gilchrist. Mrs. Morris was the widow of Clifford L. Morris and was a telephone operator for Southern Bell. She attended Colbert United Methodist Church.
Survivors include sons, Mike (Debbie) Morris and Randy Morris; grandchildren, Matt Morris, Catherine Dinsmore, Allison Waddy, John Morris, Ben Morris, and Andrew Morris; great grandchild, Charlotte Dinsmore.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday Feb. 08, 2012 at Colbert UMC at 11:00 am with Revs. James Haralson and Hugh Hendrickson officiating. Entombment will follow at the Colbert Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Matt Morris, John Morris, Andrew Morris, Ben Morris, Dustin Dinsmore, and Jacob Waddy.
Memorials may be made to Athens Regional Foundation 1199 Prince Ave. Athens, Ga. 30606.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
