Rebecca Hutchins Haggard, 55, died June 7, 2009.
A native of Jackson County, GA, she was a daughter of Herbert Marlyn and Loutrelle Chandler Hutchins of Danielsville. She retired after thirty years with the University of Georgia and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Hutchins Teal.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, Danielsville with Revs. Larry Elliott and Dayton Logan officiating. Interment will be in Ila Cemetery.
Survivors in addition to her parents include her husband, Robert M. Haggard; two sons and daughter-in-law, Clint and Erin Haggard of Houston, TX and Russell Haggard of Athens; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Cathy Hutchins of Braselton, GA; granddaughter, Reagan Haggard; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
