Reba Charlotte Parr Johnson

Reba Charlotte Parr Johnson, cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022 at the age of 93.

Born in Athens, she was a daughter of the late Roy W. Parr and Ruth Couch Parr. Mrs. Johnson was a lifelong member of Princeton United Methodist Church. She was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and the University of Georgia Bulldogs and she loved people. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer I. Johnson; two brothers, Donald B. Parr and Larry W. Parr.

Survivors include her daughters, June Hammond (Don) and Lisa Johnson Greer; grandchildren, Kevin Hammond (Lauren), Brooke Peccia (Dave) and Drake Vissering; great-grandchildren, Caroline, Andrew and Elizabeth Peccia and Kyler and Kolton Hammond and one sister-in-law, Rita Parr.

Funeral services will be Sunday, October 9, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, West. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Don Parr, Dave Peccia, Stan Lee, Kevin Hammond, Doug Hammond and Mac Farris. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 until 3:00 pm.
