Reatha W. "Rea Rea" Ingram

Reatha Wilkes Ingram, 69, died Friday, March 9, 2018 following a courageous 10 year battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
Born in Ila, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Evelyn Pruitt Wilkes. She was a member of Gordon's Chapel United Methodist Church for 50 years and retired from the State of Georgia as a Child Support Recovery Agent after 35 years. Affectionately known as ReaRea, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. In 2009, Reatha donated a kidney to her husband Mike.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Mike Ingram, of Nicholson; sons: Brian Ingram of Wilkes County; Brice (Melanie) Ingram of Ila; brother: Al Wilkes; grandchildren: Lindsey Ingram, Bryson Ingram, Jordan Ingram, Garrett Coile, Brooklyn Ingram, Brady Ingram and Lindy Coile and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 12, 2018 at Gordon's Chapel United Methodist Church at 11AM with Revs. Joel Emory and Bill Jackson officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert Davis, Freddie Massey, Eddie Cooper, Harland Lovelace, Tommy Dillard and Billy Epps. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 at the funeral home, Sunday, March 11, 2018.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Alzheimer's Association.
