Ray N. Calloway, Sr.

Ray Nelson Calloway Sr. passed the morning of January 21, 2024 with his loving children at his side.

Ray was born in Dekalb County, Ga to the late Charlie Relisha Calloway and Nora Lee Calloway on September 17, 1938.

Ray is survived by his wife of 66 years – Betty Calloway, daughter - Leaser (Wayne) Anderson, son – Nelson (Wendi) Calloway Jr., grandkids – Subrina (Sean) Trealoff, Travis (Lauren) Calloway, Dwight (Tiffany) Anderson, Hannah (Bucky) Garrison, Kayla (Justin) Thomason, great grandkids – Damon Dake, Mason Anderson, Mathew Trealoff, Maverick Calloway, Aspen Calloway, Remington Garrison, Branson Garrison, Saige Garrison and siblings – Doris Lamey, Bobby Calloway, Peggy Deal and Joy Turner-Brudon.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Lord & Stephens, EAST, Athens.
